Viano Quartet – Palm Beach
Feb 26, 2025 | 07:00 PM
The Viano Quartet, winner of the 2019 Banff
Competition, is among the most sought-after young quartets in North America. The
Quartet will be performing at the Walter S. Gubelmann Auditorium (inside the
Esther B. O’Keeffe Building) at The Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach. You
will enjoy a witty, winking work by Joseph Haydn, together with
adventure-filled, celestial music by Alistair Coleman, written in 2019 and
inspired by the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing. Rounding out the concert is the
folk-infused G Major Quartet of Antonín Dvořák written shortly
after he returned home from America. Reserve tickets online. Free to members;
$40 per person for non-members.
