Swamp Tromp (1/26) – West Palm Beach

Be prepared to get wet and muddy as you wade through the Cypress Swamp at Grassy Waters Preserve in West Palm Beach!  (This hike is on a rugged trail in knee-deep water requiring stepping over, and ducking under, vegetation and other obstacles). Wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet and muddy; shoes should fit tightly enough not to be pulled off by the mud (water shoes or old sneakers are best). Bring a refillable water bottle, hat, towel, sun protection, and a change of clothes. Registration required. Check in 15 minutes before program starts at Nature Center. Cost is $10 per adult, $5 per child.
