Almost hidden, South Inlet Park Beach in Boca Raton is a wonderful place to visit and, on weekdays, is often very quiet. Amenities include: a beach surf wheelchair—call a lifeguard to arrange for use, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, a jetty to walk out to the water, picnic areas with grills, a playground, a pavilion, restrooms with showers and a jet ski rental nearby. There are no concessions, so bring plenty of water and pack a lunch. Warning: There are heavy currents close to the break-wall. Car parking is $3 per hour on weekdays and $4 per hour on weekends. The use of balloons is prohibited at this park. Open sunset to sunrise.
