Obon Weekend 2025 – Delray Beach

Obon Weekend at the Morikami Museum in Delray Beach is great fun and filled with rich Japanese traditions! You can fill out a slip in memory of a loved one; listen to live Taiko drumming; learn Bon Dancing and, later, perform with the pros; and, in the spirit of Obon, take a contemplative stroll through the beautiful gardens! You can also buy $5 Guiding Lights and $8 Lantern at Home Kits to take the celebration home! Online pre-sales will close 8/15. All remaining tickets will be available at the theater doors on the day of the show. The ticket does not include admission to the Museum. Admission tickets for the fair (includes touring the Museum) are: $16, adults; $14, seniors 65+; $14, military with ID; $12, students with ID; $10, children 6-17; Free, children 5 and under, and Morikami members. The festival runs from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days.
