Inaugural Blind Sports Day – Lake Worth Beach

This is a unique and engaging experience designed for everyone regardless of vision, held at the CMAA Therapeutic Recreation Complex in John Prince Memorial Park in Lake Worth Beach. It is also an opportunity to experience adaptive sports, with a variety of benefits for all. Sports will be: Archery, aim and shoot at the target using auditory cues; Boccia, a game of precision and strategy using a tactile grid or verbal cues to propel the ball closest to the target ball; Pickleball, rely on sound and teamwork in this fun paddle sport with a twist; and Cornhole, use tactile and auditory cues to toss bags toward the target in this classic backyard game. This will be a fun and engaging sports experience for everyone!
