Creation Station (8/23) – Boca Raton

Enjoy this family friendly program at the Boca Raton Museum of Art! The theme, figurative populist style, carries through to the art activity inspired by the art of Fernand Léger. Léger was a French painter, sculptor, and filmmaker who created his personal form of cubism, known as Tubism. Visit the museum’s second floor gallery to look at Fernand Léger’s art, Fragment and Variation on ‘The Campaign Party,’ gouache and ink on paper. Look at the artist’s use of black line and color. Then create your own art! This class is free with paid museum admission. This program is available all weekend, 8/23-8/24, between 12-4 p.m. General admission: $16 for adults; $12 for seniors 65+; and free for students with school ID and children under 15.
