Tips on communicating with your partner while raising a teen

KEEP LINES OF COMMUNICATION OPEN:

  • Be honest with each other about your joys, concerns and fears of raising a teenager.
  • Avoid blaming each other for your teenager’s shortcomings. Remember that his or her brain is a work in progress.
  • Be supportive of each other as a couple, and keep the love bucket full.
